About the Unit:  We were pleased to host the 50th Anniversary of the Wally Byam Caravan Club during the summer of 2005 at a small campground in Kentville, Nova Scotia where the club was founded and the constitution passed in 1955 when one of the original caravans was passing through the Atlantic Provinces. A plaque of Wally Byan was unveiled at the anniversary celebration with over 200 WBCCI members in attendance including the International President of WBCCI, the President of Airstream, and two of the members who had traveled on the initial caravan as children.
     The Canadian Atlantic Unit holds three or four rallies a year either in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island. These rallies are usually planned around some special event or festival, taking place in the area where it is being held. The Unit has also organized several caravans across New Brunwick and Newfoundland. We currently have 19 members in our unit and 3 affiliated members.
Ernie Wood, one of the long standing members of the Canadian Atlantic Unit served as the President of Region 1, in 1989/90.
